LINCOLN SQUARE — Lincoln Square's popular free summer concert series returns to Giddings Plaza Thursday, with an added incentive to spend time, and money, in the neighborhood.

The Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce is launching Shop Small Thursdays: The first 50 shoppers who spend $300 or more on Thursdays, now through Labor Day, split among at least three local businesses, will receive a $50 gift card.

Boundaries for the promotion are Foster, Montrose, Ashland and the Chicago River. Submit receipts — remember, valid only for purchases made on Thursdays — via mail to the chamber office, 2611 W. Lawrence Ave., or email photocopies to info@lincolnsquare.org.

Los Perros Cubanos will kick off the concert series, which runs weekly through Sept. 1, 6:30-9 p.m., 4731 N. Lincoln Ave.
