Chatham Shooting Injures 20-Year-Old Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — A Chatham shooting left a 20-year-old man wounded on Tuesday, police said.

At 11:59 a.m., the man was in the 8100 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when he was shot twice in his buttocks, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

No one was in custody in the shooting. No further details were immediately available.
