SOUTH SHORE — South Shore homeowners have a chance to get flowers for their yards and help local gardens on May 14.

From 10 a.m.-3 p.m. the South Shore Cultural Center, 7059 S. South Shore Drive, will host a plant and geranium sale.

The proceeds benefit the park advisory council and the South Shore Open House Committee, which use the money to plant the formal gardens around the cultural center.
