HYDE PARK — Chicago Police are searching for a man who pulled a gun on a University of Chicago student and fondled her.
According to the University of Chicago Police Department, a university student was talking to an acquaintance at 4 p.m. Saturday in the vestibule of an off-campus apartment building near 58th Street and Kenwood Avenue when he pulled a handgun on her.
The man then pushed the woman down to the floor and fondled her, according to police. He ran when the woman started screaming, police said.
The woman suffered minor injuries to her knee and elbow and declined medical attention, according to police.
