WICKER PARK — It's going to be colder than usual but if you are determined to enjoy an early spring weekend in the neighborhood, here are a few ideas for things to do indoors.

Add Some French Flair to Your Wardrobe.  French clothing designer Marc Le Bihan and jewelry maker Jean-Francois Mimila will be the focus of a trunk show in Bucktown at Robin Richman boutique. Free. From 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 2108 N. Damen Ave.

Buy Comic Book Art.  Members of the Chicago Alternative Comics Expo (CAKE) will host a live fundraising auction where bidders can try to take home over 20 original works as well as enjoy live readings. CAKE's 4th Annual Fundraiser, Suggested $5 donation for entry. 7 p.m. Friday, The Hideout, 1345 W. Wabansia Ave.

Indulge in Empanadas.  In honor of "National Empanada Day," 5411 Empanadas will be offering 50-percent off all dine-in bills at its four Chicago locations, including two in Wicker Park. From 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday, 2045 W. North Ave. and 1659 W. Division St.

Score Handmade Goods (in a Warm Toasty Bar).  Crafters and shoppers unite at a bazaar featuring items from "more than 30 amazing sellers," organizers say. Expect funky jewelry, cards, clothing, handbags, knitted accessories and more. Empty Bottle Handmade Market, Free. From noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, 1035 N. Western Ave. Ages 21 and older.

Help Ukraine War Victims, Shop for Unique Crafts.  Artisans who specialize in embroideries, jewelry and other arts will be selling wares at a Spring Bazaar, along with colorful pysanka and pisanki (decorated eggs) for the upcoming Orthodox Easter holiday.  Proceeds will benefit Ukrainian war victims.
