EDISON PARK — Five garages in Edison Park and Norwood Park have been burglarized in recent weeks, police say.
Three of the break-ins occurred on the same Edison Park block around the same time, police said.
The incidents happened in the:
• 7100 block of West Arthur Avenue between 10 p.m. Feb. 5 and 9:10 a.m. Feb. 6
• 6700 block of north Oconto Avenue at 4:40 a.m. Sunday
• 6700 block of north Oconto Avenue at 4:40 a.m. Sunday
• 6700 block of north Oconto Avenue between 7 p.m. Saturday and 10:55 a.m. Sunday
• 6600 block of north Ogallah Avenue on between 10 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Saturday.
The burglars entered the garages by forcibly opening side doors or entering through unlocked doors, police said.
