Woman Attacked After Exiting Green Line Train on South Side: Police

GRAND BOULEVARD — Police are searching for three men who attacked and tried to rob a woman last month at a South Side Green Line station.

On Jan. 29 at 7:49 p.m., a woman exited a CTA Green Line train at the 43rd Street station, police said. Three men followed her from the train, and while within the station, one of the offenders hit her and tried to take her cell phone.

The woman sustained minor injuries, police said.

The people involved are described as black men, between the ages of 16-20, 6 feet to 6-feet-3 inches tall, and weighing between 160-200 pounds.
