CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was shot in a Wicker Park drive-by shooting early Saturday morning, according to police.

The man was walking in the 1200 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at 4:15 a.m. when a man in a white car opened fire, according to Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman.

He was struck in the abdomen and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, Estrada said.

The man is a documented gang member, according to police.

No one has been arrested.
