CHICAGO — Three men were wounded in a shooting in Armour Square Monday night, police said.

At 9 p.m. Monday, the men were walking on the sidewalk in the 3800 block of South Wells Street when someone from a white minivan shot at them, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

A 21-year-old man was shot in his left thigh and was in serious condition at Stroger Hospital. A 38-year-old man was shot in his right thigh and was in "stable" condition at Stroger Hospital, Estrada said, while a 25-year-old man had his left hip grazed by a bullet and refused medical attention.

The 25-year-old man is a documented gang member, police said, and the incident might be gang-related.
