CHICAGO LAWN — A 21-year-old man was found shot to death in the driver's seat of a parked minivan in Chicago Lawn Friday night, police said.

Around 9 p.m., officer responded to a call of shots fired in the 6600 block of South Fairfield Avenue, where they found the man unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in his head, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was pronounced dead on scene, Estrada said. He was identified as Darius C.E. Brown, of the 7900 block of South Whipple, in Cook County Medical Examiner's records. Brown was pronounced dead at 9:35 p.m. of a gunshot wound to his head.

No one is in custody and a homicide investigation is underway, Estrada said.
