CHICAGO — A shooting in Brighton Park left a 25-year-old man dead Tuesday night, police said.
At 8:21 p.m., the man was getting out of his car in the 4600 block of South Talman Avenue when another car pulled up and someone inside shot at the man, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was shot in his stomach and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, Estrada said.
He was been identified as Jonathan Jimenez, of the 1900 block of West Cullerton Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner. Jimenez was pronounced dead at 8:57 p.m., according to the medical examiner.
No one is in custody in the shooting.
