Carol Brown Memorial Blood Drive Returns Sunday to Christ the King

BEVERLY — The ninth annual Carol Brown Memorial Blood Drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Christ the King Parish in Beverly.

Brown died in 2007 after a battle with acute myelogenous leukemia. The event in her honor has already collected nearly 850 units of blood for local hospitals.

Donors can meet at the school at 9240 S. Hoyne Ave. Online registration is available through the American Red Cross, using sponsor code Carol2016.
