ENGLEWOOD — Two men were wounded in separate shootings in Englewood on Thursday, police said.

At 6:10 p.m, a 22-year-old man was outside in the 6000 block of South Halsted Street when someone fired from a car, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was shot in his arm and listed in "stable" condition at Stroger Hospital, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Sedevic said. 

At 3:30 p.m. a man emerged from an alley and shot an 18-year-old man in his ankle in the 5500 block of South Elizabeth Avenue, Sedevic said. 

The man is listed in "stable" condition at Stroger and no one is in custody, Sedevic said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
