WICKER PARK — In fast turnover news, the Mexican joint Kokopelli which closed in November has been replaced by B. Bim Asian Eatery, which opened earlier this week and describes itself as a fast casual Korean-inspired restaurant.

B. Bim Asian Eatery is owned by Aeron Lancero, who previously owned Yum Cha, a Downtown dim sum spot.

The 80-seat restaurant offers bowls, taco plates, "shareables" such as spicy wings and lettuce wraps, priced between $4 and $10, according to a menu on its website.

Beef, pork, chicken, tofu or shrimp bowls are available with a rice or sweet potato noodle base. The bowls include spinach, kimchi, sprouts, radish, shiitake, squash and chili paste. A fried egg costs an extra $1.

Drink options include Korean beers Cass and OB for $5 per bottle, as well as soju, a distilled liquor.

B. Bim Asian Eatery, 1324 N. Milwaukee Ave., 773-698-7670. Hours are 4-11 p.m. weekdays; 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturdays. For updates, visit B. Bim's Facebook page, or follow the restaurant on Twitter, @BBimChicago.
