BUENA PARK — The Chicago Police Department's 19th District CAPS liason said a November shooting on West Buena Avenue may have been gang-related.

During a Buena Park Neighbors meeting Tuesday night at Joseph Brennemann Elementary School, 19th Town Hall District sergeant Jason Clark discussed a shooting that took place on at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at 869 W. Buena Ave. Clark said the shooting may have stemmed from an ongoing rivalry between the Conservative Vice Lords and the Black "P" Stone Nation.

According to the Sun-Times, a 17-year-old boy was shot by someone in a white or silver car. The unidentified male was shot in the hip and took himself to Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital.

Clark said no one is in custody in connection with the shooting.
