PILSEN — An 18-year-old man was shot in his right leg in Pilsen Sunday evening, police said.

Around 8:15 p.m., the man was standing in the 2100 block of West 18th Street when a van pulled up alongside him and someone inside shot at him, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Estrada said.
