LITTLE VILLAGE — A man was found dead with a gunshot wound in his chest in Little Village Saturday night, police said.

Around 8:55 p.m., police found the man, 32, unresponsive inside a parked van on the 2700 block of West 24th Street, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Estrada said.

According to Cook County Medical Examiner's records, Carlos Romo, of the same block where he was shot, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:18 p.m.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
