CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man and two teenagers were hurt in separate shootings between Monday morning and Tuesday morning, police said.

• Most recently, at 10:58 p.m. Monday, the 22-year-old was shot in his upper arm during an attempted robbery in Chicago Lawn, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was sitting in a parked car in the 6000 block of South Mozart Avenue when a man walked up, pointed a gun and tried to rob him, Estrada said. The man drove off, and the would-be robber shot at him.

The man drove himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition stabilized, Estrada said.

• Around 5:05 p.m. Monday evening, a 16-year-old boy was standing in the 1900 block of South St. Louis Avenue when someone shot at him, Estrada said.

The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized after he was treated for a gunshot wound in his left leg, Estrada said.

Police said the boy is a documented gang member.

• About a half hour earlier, a 17-year-old was standing in the 7300 block of South Blackstone Avenue in Greater Grand Crossing when someone drove up in a car, got out and shot at him, Estrada said.

The teen was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound in his lower leg, Estrada said.
