WEST TOWN — A 28-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Wicker Park Saturday evening, police said.

Around 8:11 p.m., the man was riding a bicycle in the 1600 block of North Washtenaw Avenue when three men drove alongside him in a small station wagon and yelled gang slogans before shooting at him and fleeing westbound on North Avenue, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound in his back, Sedevic said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
