WEST RIDGE — A 24-year-old woman survived being shot in her head in West Ridge early Sunday morning, police said.
Around 4:15 a.m., the woman walked into Swedish Covenant Hospital with a gunshot wound in her head, Sedevic said.
Police said she had been shot in the 6000 block of North Western Avenue.
Her condition later stabilized, Sedevic said, though she could not say the extent of her injuries.
Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.
