CHICAGO— A 43-year-old man was killed in an Englewood shooting late Saturday, according to police.
The man, identified as Michael Johnson, was sitting in his parked car in the 700 block of West 59th Street around 10:45 p.m. when someone ran up to the car and opened fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago police spokeswoman.
Johnson, of the 2900 block of West 79th Street, was shot in his head and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition before he died, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing, she said.
