CHICAGO — A shooting in Little Village left a man wounded Saturday morning.

At 4:55 a.m., a 27-year-old man was walking in the 3000 block of South Keeler Avenue when two men walked up to him and opened fire, said Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in the right side of his abdomen and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said. Police could not say the extent of his injuries.
