CHICAGO — The Blackhawks are offering the prize of a lifetime for the winner of a raffle.
The winner will receive an authentic Blackhawks Championship Ring engraved with his or her name — and owner Rocky Wirtz will call you on Christmas Day to tell you it's yours. The ring has 355 diamonds set in a 14-karat white gold ring.
The winner will get the ring at a pre-game ceremony when the Blackhawks take on the St. Louis Blues on Jan. 24. The Blackhawks will also give the winner two premium seats to the game, a tour of the United Center, a two-night stay at a Downtown hotel and a bag of team memorabilia.
The Blackhawks will provide money for airfare, meals and transportation, if necessary, and will provide a $6,165 cash prize to the Internal Revenue Service to offset the winner's tax liability.
Tickets are sold online for $2 and entrants must buy at least five tickets. The entry deadline is 11 a.m. Dec. 25. The winners will be drawn that day.
