CHICAGO — Two people, including a 51-year-old woman, were injured in a North Lawndale shooting Tuesday morning, police said.

At 9:15 a.m., the woman and man were in the 3100 block of West Douglas Boulevard when a car pulled up and someone got out and fired at them, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The woman was hit in her chin, and a 21-year-old man was hit in his leg, Estrada said. Both were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where they were in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
