CHICAGO — A 14-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting Sunday morning in West Englewood, police said.

At 11:45 a.m., the girl was walking in the 6400 block of South Honore Street when a car pulled up and someone got out and fired at her, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The girl was shot in her elbow and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition.

The incident is possibly gang-related, police said.

No one is in custody.
