CHICAGO — Albany Park has seen three robberies since the end of September, police said.
During the robberies, a man approaches a woman and steals her property, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The incidents occurred:
• 4:04 p.m. Sept. 28 in the 3400 block of West Lawrence Avenue
• 2:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 3600 block of West Lawrence Avenue
• 8:15 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 4400 block of North Lawndale Avenue
In two of the incidents, the thief is described as a 40- to 45-year-old black man who is 5-foot-9 to 6-foot-2 and has short black hair and a birthmark or an impairment on his face. He was wearing a black coat.
In the other case, the thief is described as a 22- to 23-year-old black man who is 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 and has black hair and was wearing a black coat.
