Brass Band To Help Celebrate Elm Park's New Fence

HYDE PARK — Elm Park volunteers will celebrate the park’s new fence with a brass band on Saturday.

Brass Buttons Quintet will perform from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the park at 5215 S. Woodlawn Ave.

The group of tuba, trombone, horn, and two trumpets plays everything from Beatles to Bach.

The Elm Park Advisory Council will cut the ribbon at 2 p.m. on its new fence built with support from the Chicago Park District and Friends of the Parks.
