CHICAGO — Institutions from Adler Planetarium to the Museum of Contemporary Art will host a free day Saturday in honor of "Museum Day Live!"
The event Saturday, Sept. 26 is in the spirit of the Smithsonian, the big museum system in Washington that has free admission. The free day will precede an inaugural "Museum Week" led by local attractions.
Visit the event's website to download a ticket necessary for free entry Saturday. Tickets are good for two people, but are limited to one per household.
