CHICAGO — A man who was found on a Roseland sidewalk with a gunshot wound later died, police asy.
At 9:40 p.m. Sunday, a 43-year-old man was found on the sidewalk in the 10100 block of South Calumet Avenue with a gunshot wound to his abdomen, said Officer Janel Sedevic, Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he later died, Sedevic said. He was unable to tell police what happened.
No one is in custody in the shooting.
