WEST PULLMAN — A 30-year-old man has died from his wounds after a shooting on Aug. 31, according to morgue records.

The man was shot in his stomach and arm around 7 p.m. on Aug. 31 in West Pullman, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman, at the time. Police first reported the man was 20 years old.

The man was riding a motorized minibike in the 11800 block of South State Street when shots rang out, Sedevic said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition.

Jarrel Lovelace, of the 1200 block of West 110th Place, was pronounced dead Monday at 11:33 p.m., according to Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He died of complications of his gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
