CHICAGO — A shooting in Morgan Park left a man wounded Monday night, police say.

At 11:40 p.m., a 22-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of West 110th Street in Morgan Park when a black sedan drove by and someone from within the car shot at the man, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The victim was shot in the right leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Estrada said.

The shooting was possibly gang related, police said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Estrada said.
