WEST LOOP — City leaders plan to give a block-by-block update of proposed Fulton Market infrastructure improvements at a meeting Thursday.

Ald. Walter Burnett. Jr (27th) and the Chicago Department of Transportation will discuss the Fulton Market Streetscape Project at a meeting from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chicago Artists Coalition, 217 N. Carpenter St.

The goal of the project is to upgrade and enhance public infrastructure on Fulton Market between Halsted Street and Ogden Avenue, according to the West Loop Community Organization. Residents will have the opportunity to give feedback on proposed plans at the meeting.

One plan is to put a streetlight at Fulton and Halsted.
