JEFFERSON PARK — Three Northwest Side homes have been burglarized during the daytime and early evening in recent weeks, police warned.
The incidents happened in the:
• 6100 block of West Newport Avenue between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Aug. 6
• 5500 block of West Irving Park Road between 8 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Aug. 25
• 5800 block of West Berenice Avenue between 12:30 and 5 p.m. Aug. 26
The burglars entered the homes and apartments through doors and took electronics, jewelry and cash, police said.
