The festivities will run from 5-7:30 p.m. at the school at 10015 S. Leavitt St. in Beverly.

Payment of all material fees can be made at the bash, and students will also receive their classroom assignments.

Giordano's will also be selling items from their menu including pizza at the bash, and Morgan Park High School's band will entertain the crowd.

Students from the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences in Mount Greenwood will be on hand to showcase their FFA or Future Farmers of America program, too.

Kindergarten parents and students are invited to arrive at 4:30 p.m. to receive a special sneak peek at the school. This will offer the newcomers a chance to find their classroom and meet the teachers ahead of the first day of school.
