ROSELAND — A 28-year-old man was shot to death in Roseland Tuesday night, police said.

Around 10:20 p.m., the man was standing in the 10700 block of South Wentworth Avenue when a car drove by and someone inside shot at him and struck him in his head and stomach, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Marshun Black, of the 10300 block of South Wentworth Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:57 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Police said the man was a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
