CHICAGO — One man was killed and another wounded in a Garfield Park shooting on Friday night, police say.

At 6:15 p.m., an 18-year-old man and 16-year-old boy got into a fight with another person in the 3800 block of West Lexington Street, said Officer Antoinette Ursitti, Chicago Police spokeswoman. The third man pulled out a gun and fired, hitting the 18-year-old man in his head and the 16-year-old boy in his shoulder, Ursitti said.

The 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and the 16-year-old boy was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in stable condition, Ursitti said.

Cory Fisher, of the 3200 block of West Carroll Avenue in East Garfield Park, was pronounced dead at 6:24 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Ursitti said.
