LINCOLN SQUARE — Follow the yellow brick road to Gross Park for Saturday's screening of "The Wizard of Oz."
The classic film will be shown for free, starting at sundown (approximately 8 p.m.) at the park, 2708 W. Lawrence Ave.
Ranked No. 6 on the American Film Institute's list of 100 Greatest Movies, "The Wizard of Oz" is rated suitable for viewers of all ages, from grown-ups revisiting iconic scenes — "I'm melting!" "We represent the Lollipop Guild"— to children being introduced for the first time to Dorothy, the Wicked Witch, Toto and the Munchkins.
