25-Year-Old Man Shot and Injured in South Loop, Police Say

SOUTH LOOP — A 25-year-old man is injured after being shot in South Loop early Saturday morning, police say.

At 3:15 a.m., the 25-year-old man was in his car in the 100 block of East Cullerton Street when another car pulled alongside and someone inside shot at him, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was shot in his buttocks and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.

The incident might be gang related, police said.
