CHICAGO — A man was shot Thursday morning in Uptown, police said.

Around 4:20 a.m., the man was shot in his back while in the 5000 block of North Kenmore Avenue, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man drove himself to Weiss Hospital in serious condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
