CHICAGO — Six people were wounded in shootings Wednesday to Thursday morning, police said.

Most recently, a 16-year-old boy was outside at midnight in the 4400 block of West Jackson Boulevard in West Garfield Park when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Ana Pacheco, Chicago Police spokeswoman. The boy was shot in the leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, Pacheco said.

The victim was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, a 45-year-old man was outside in the 2400 block of West Van Buren Street in the Near West Side when a person got out of a gray sedan and fired at the man, Pacheco said. The shooter fled the scene on the Eisenhower Expressway, and the victim was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition with wounds to his abdomen and leg, Pacheco said.

The victim was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 9:38 p.m., a 20-year-old man was standing outside in the 900 block of East 130th Place in Altgeld Gardens when he heard shots and felt pain, Pacheco said. The man was struck in the nose and ear and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Pacheco said.

• At 5:52 p.m., a 31-year-old man was outside in the 6900 block of South East End Avenue in South Shore when a person walked up to him and shot him, grazing his arm, Pacheco said. The man took himself to South Shore Medical Center and was in stable condition, Pacheco said

• At 4:08 p.m., a 49-year-old man was outside in the 10600 block of South Green Bay Avenue in East Side when someone in a gangway fired at him, hitting his arm, Pacheco said. The victim was taken to Trinity Hospital and was in good condition, Pacheco said.

• At 2:19 p.m., a man was the passenger in a car in the 3900 block of Southwestern Avenue in Brighton Park when another car pulled up and someone shot at the man, Pacheco said. The victim was driven to Mount Sinai Hospital, where doctors treated him for a gunshot wound to his back that had left a bruise, and the man was released, Pacheco said.

The victim was a documented gang member, police said.
