CHICAGO — A boy was in serious condition after being hit by a train, police said Monday morning.
The boy, 14, sustained an injury to his right leg when he was struck by a freight train 11 a.m. in the 5900 block of South Natoma Avenue in Clearing, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.
The boy was transported to Loyola University Medical Center in serious condition, Pacheco said.
