ALBANY PARK — A man is in stable condition after being shot multiple times in Albany Park Saturday evening, police said.
The 22-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk on the 4700 block of North Albany Avenue about 6 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man drove himself to Swedish Covenant Hospital after being shot in his back and his left arm, Pacheco said.
No one is in custody for the shooting, Pacheco said.
Police said the man is a documented gang member.
