CHICAGO — A 34-year-old man was fatally shot in Irving Park Friday morning, police said.

Around 4:40 a.m., the man was found unresponsive in the 3600 block of North St. Louis Avenue after being shot in his head, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and no one is in custody for the shooting, Estrada said.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Manuel Arizaga was found shot at the intersection of Waveland and Kimball Avenues by his brother Julio Arizaga, who was picking him up for work at a furniture delivery store.

Officers at the scene said Arizaga still had his wallet, but the shooting may have been a robbery gone wrong, the Sun-Times reports.
