CHICAGO — A 17-year-old was shot in Woodlawn Tuesday night, police said.
Around 6:45 p.m., he was walking in the 6600 block of South Langley Avenue when he was shot in his back, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
He drove himself to University of Chicago Hospital, but was transferred to Mount Sinai in critical condition, Estrada said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
