WICKER PARK — For revelers looking to escape the crowds at next weekend's massive Wicker Park Fest, Wild Turkey Bourbon announced Wednesday that a "distillery on wheels" will be parked for tours and  free tastings.

Designed to be a replica of the Wild Turkey Visitor Center in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, a 50-foot-long bus will be parked in the 1300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue and provide "a well-deserved respite," according to a news release issued by Traffic PR, which handles public relations for the fest's main beneficiary, the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.

The mobile bar and lounge, open to those age 21 and over, will offer Old Fashioned cocktails along with a tasting room, where bourbon enthusiasts can get free tastes and learn the complexities behind taste, smell, color and maturation. The stop is part of a Wild Turkey's national summer tour, which can be tracked on social media using the hashtag #nevertamed.

A fest spokeswoman said the bus capacity is around 15 or 16 guests, with about 8-12 minutes allotted per group. Identification will be checked at the door by security personnel who will manage the line too.

Expected to attract some 70,000 revelers, the fest's top two presenting sponsors are Wild Turkey and Lagunitas Brewing Company.

Along wih the bus announcement, organizers also released details on Wicker Park Fest's official after party inside Umami Burger, 1480 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Local craft beers, wine, and creative cocktails will be served at Umami Burger until 2 a.m. at the free party (the fest closes at 10 p.m).

Umami Burger's indoor music lineup post fest will include Jeff Abruzino, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, and Andy Mead from 8 to 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
