ROGERS PARK — A man was shot in the Rogers Park neighborhood Tuesday evening, police said.
The 27-year-old man was shot around 5:02 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Sherwin Avenue, according to Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago police spokesman.
The victim was shot in his stomach and taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in serious condition, Sweeney said.
