CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was shot to death in Woodlawn Thursday, police said.
Around 10:05 p.m., the teen was in the 6600 block of South Blackstone Avenue when a man walked up to him and fired multiple shots at him, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, Estrada said.
He was identified as Kimythe Hubbard, of the 2900 block of South King Drive. He was pronounced dead at 10:24 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one is in custody for the shooting, Estrada said.
