Englewood Shooting Wounds Two Late Tuesday

CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man and 28-year-old man were shot in Englewood late Tuesday, police said.

Around 9:25 p.m., the two were standing on the sidewalk in the 5900 block of South Lafayette Avenue when they were shot, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The 25-year-old man was shot in the right side of his chest and the 28-year-old man was shot in his abdomen. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Estrada said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
