CHICAGO — A 31-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting Monday evening in Irving Park, police said.

Around 5:30 p.m., the man was shot four times in his chest, shoulder and left arm in the 3900 block of North Central Park Avenue, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, Lemmon said.
