The two were sitting in a van in the 6700 block of South Ada Street when they were shot, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The 41-year-old man was shot in his ankle and the 24-year-old woman was shot in her leg. Both were taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, Pacheco said.
